Hearts at the Bench: A Weekend with Corazón Rings

This past weekend, our studio was alive with energy, laughter, and the quiet hum of focused creativity as we hosted two wonderful Corazón Ring classes. The Corazón Ring remains one of our most popular workshops, and it’s easy to see why. Its heart-shaped design invites personal expression, making each piece not just jewelry, but a meaningful keepsake that tells a story.

The Corazón Ring, named after the Spanish word for “heart,” has long been a symbol of love, devotion, and personal expression. Heart-shaped jewelry has appeared across cultures for centuries, representing affection, loyalty, and emotional connection. In modern jewelry, the Corazón Ring blends this timeless symbolism with artistic craftsmanship, creating a piece that is both beautiful and deeply personal. Traditionally crafted in silver or gold and often set with gemstones, each ring becomes a unique keepsake that carries the story of the wearer.

We were thrilled to welcome two amazing groups of students, each bringing curiosity, care, and a willingness to explore new skills. Over the weekend, makers learned to size bands, shape metal, solder settings, and set stones, turning raw materials into one-of-a-kind rings that reflected their personalities and intentions. Watching these transformations, both in the work itself and in each student’s confidence, was truly inspiring.

What made the weekend so special wasn’t just the technical skills learned, but the sense of community and connection that developed at every workbench. Laughter, encouragement, and shared moments of discovery filled the room. Seeing students support one another, celebrate small victories, and take pride in their creations reminded us why these classes are so meaningful. They are about more than making jewelry; they are about creativity, connection, and the joy of making something by hand.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for these classes. Your energy, openness, and enthusiasm made the weekend unforgettable. Watching new makers fall in love with the process and seeing each ring come to life with care and intention is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you for filling our studio with heart, curiosity, and creativity. We can’t wait to welcome you back for the next class.
