Magic at Meltdown: Creating Fall Statement Rings Together

There’s something about fall that sparks creativity and this past Saturday’s Fall Statement Ring Class at Meltdown Studio was the perfect celebration of that magic.

The studio was alive with the sounds of saws, laughter, and good conversation as students designed and created their own bold, one-of-a-kind rings. Each participant began by selecting from a stunning collection of stones, all hand-cut and polished in our studio especially for this class. Shades of turquoise, mossy green, and warm earth tones filled the tables, each stone carrying its own story and energy.

Once inspiration struck, students dove into the process: sketching their designs, shaping silver bands, soldering settings, and finally, carefully setting their chosen stones. It was a day of learning, patience, and creativity, with everyone encouraging one another through each new skill.

It’s amazing to see how everyone’s personality comes through in their designs.

By the end of the day, the tables gleamed with finished pieces, statement rings as diverse and beautiful as the people who made them. More than just jewelry, they were reflections of creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of making something by hand.
