Wednesday, March 18 ((5:30-7:00pm))

For this month’s “Social Circle,” please help us welcome Kate Wolf of Kate Wolf Designs, Wolf Tools, Wolf Waxes as she walks us through her unique experience in the world of jewelry-making and tells us about some of her favorite tools.

Kate is known in the jewelry industry as THE wax carving badass, but she also has soldering and general bench tips that will knock your socks off!

"Kate Wolf has been carving wax and making jewelry for 41 years; and teaching for 30 years. She teaches workshops at

some really cool places throughout the United States and at her dreamy studio in Portland, Maine. Interesting, creative people travel from all over the world to take classes with her. Kate won MJSA's Innovation Award for her Wolf Tools and Wolf Wax by Ferris and continues to develop tools for jewelers to love. Kate is a former Director of Production and master model-maker for the Franklin Mint, and she holds a BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry from Tyler School of Art.
