"Make it at Meltdown" Stone Lattice Ring

  • Meltdown Studio 901 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Suite E-130 Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

This brand new ((and exciting!!)) Make it at Meltdown class invites you to create a sculptural statement ring that feels both intentional and easy to wear. The Stone Lattice Ring features a layered, cross-over shank design that’s bold in form but surprisingly comfortable - an adjustable fit that settles just right on the hand.

You’ll choose from a gorgeous array of natural gemstones and learn how to fabricate bezels that complement the overall design. The ring’s structure looks complex, but we’ll break it down step by step, gaining confidence in layout, soldering, and stone setting.

This class is perfect for students who are just getting started or are looking to strengthen core skills such as bezel-making, soldering, and clean construction. You'll walk away with a finished ring that feels bold and sculptural, and will turn heads wherever you go.

Techniques we’ll cover: bezel making, ring shank construction, stone setting, soldering, polishing, finishing

Materials we’ll use: sterling silver, natural cabochon gemstones (turquoise, onyx, carnelian, and others available in class)
