A Touch of Gold: Gemstone Bloom Ring Workshop

On Saturday, September 20, our studio came alive with creativity during our “Make it at Meltdown” A Touch of Gold: Gemstone Bloom Ring workshop. From 10:00am to 3:00pm, students rolled up their sleeves, got hands-on with their tools, and crafted rings that bloomed with individuality and style.

Hands in Action

The workshop began with the fundamentals: forming and shaping silver bands. Before long, the studio was filled with the rhythmic tap of hammers and the warm glow of torches. Step by step, raw silver and sparkling gemstones were transformed into meaningful, wearable works of art. Watching each idea take shape was nothing short of inspiring.

The Joy of Making Together

One of the highlights of the day was seeing everyone gather to share progress and compare designs. Some experimented with bold stone settings, while others explored intricate textures and fine details. Each ring became a reflection of its maker’s vision, and the excitement of creating side by side made the process even more rewarding.

The Bloom Rings

By the end of the afternoon, the results were truly breathtaking. Some students created striking statement rings with vibrant gemstones, while others chose subtle, delicate blooms accented with touches of gold. Every piece was unique, each telling its own story of creativity and care.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special workshop. It is always a joy to see our community gather to learn, create, and celebrate the art of jewelry making. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next project.
