Double Fun: Iris’s Two-Stone Statement Ring

This past Sunday, our studio sparkled with creativity as Iris joined us for a private Two-Stone Ring session. With silver at the bench and a beautiful pairing of turquoise and coral, she set out to create a bold statement ring that carried twice the color and twice the personality.

Getting Started

Iris began with the essentials: a sterling silver band, bezels, and her carefully chosen stones. Step by step, she shaped, soldered, and prepared the settings, bringing the vibrant blue of turquoise and the warm red of coral to life side by side.

In the Making

From the glow of the torch to the final polish, Iris leaned into each part of the process with focus and joy. The challenge of balancing two different stones on one ring became an opportunity for creativity, and every stage brought her closer to a piece that was uniquely hers.

The Moment of Reveal

The highlight came when Iris slipped the finished ring onto her hand. The striking contrast of turquoise and coral made for a design that was playful, colorful, and full of character; a true one-of-a-kind creation.

A Creative Stop in Albuquerque

Iris made the most of her time here in Albuquerque, where she was visiting for work, by exploring the city’s vibrant creative community. This session was a special part of her trip, and she’s already planning to return with some of her colleagues for another class. We can’t wait to welcome her back!

A Sunday to Remember

More than just jewelry making, this session was a chance to learn, create, and walk away with a ring that tells a story. Iris’s two-stone ring is a wearable work of art, and a beautiful reminder of how much fun the journey of making can be.
