Framed Turquoise Ring Workshop | A Day of Making and Meaning

The past weekend’s Framed Turquoise Ring workshop was all about getting hands-on and creating something personal from start to finish. Each student chose their own turquoise stone, and you could immediately see how different every piece would turn out.

Throughout the class, everyone worked closely on shaping, setting, and refining their rings. There was a lot of focus at the workbench, but also moments of sharing, comparing stones, and helping each other along the way. You could really feel the mix of concentration and excitement as each ring started to come together.

Seeing all the finished rings side by side was a moment in itself. Each one had its own personality, shaped by the choices made along the way. Some stood out instantly, others drew you in quietly, but all of them carried a sense of the hands that made them. Watching everyone try them on at the end, right after completing them, made it feel even more meaningful.

By the end of the session, everyone walked away with a ring they made themselves and a real sense of connection to the work behind it.

We’re excited to keep creating with you in future classes and continue sharing the experience of making jewelry by hand.
