Two Stones Turquoise Ring Class in Albuquerque: Double Turquoise Statement Ring
Our Turquoise Ring Class in Albuquerque last Friday felt like one of those quiet, focused studio days where everything just clicks. From the first look at the stones to the final polish, each step was reflected in the work happening at the benches. You could see it in the photos, hands steady at the torch, bezels taking shape, and two vibrant turquoise stones slowly becoming part of something personal.
We started with raw materials, sterling silver and two one-of-a-kind turquoise stones. As shown in the early process photos, students began by shaping their bands and building bezels, learning how to fit each stone carefully. No two pieces looked the same, which made the room feel even more alive.
As the class moved into soldering and stone setting, the transformation really came through. In the in-between shots, you can see that shift from rough construction to refined detail. Oxidation added depth, polishing brought out the shine, and suddenly each ring carried that bold Southwest character the design is known for.
By the end of the session, every student walked away with a finished double turquoise statement ring, completely their own. The final photos say it best, two stones set side by side, balanced but never identical, each ring holding its own story.
If you’ve been curious about trying a turquoise ring class in Albuquerque, this is the kind of experience that stays with you. It’s hands-on, a little challenging, and incredibly rewarding to see something you made come to life right in front of you.
