When Creativity Meets Community: Jewelry-Making with Kei & Molly
What do you get when two passionate creative teams come together? Magic. That’s exactly what happened in 2019 when the Kei & Molly Textiles team joined us for a fun jewelry-making workshop at Meltdown Studio.
Known for their beautiful hand-printed textiles and strong community values, Kei & Molly have shared their energy, curiosity, and love of craft into our studio. Together, this diverse group made textured and stamped sterling silver rings, each piece as unique as the person who made it.
But this day was about more than just making unique jewelry. It was about slowing down, connecting, and creating something meaningful to remember the experience. The sound of hammers and the sparkle of silver brought everyone into a shared creative flow.
Why do we love working with local businesses like Kei & Molly? Because it’s about more than craft: it’s about community, support, and celebrating the amazing talents right here in Albuquerque. Kei & Molly’s focus on sustainable, ethical work and uplifting immigrant and refugee workers fits perfectly with our values.

This workshop reminded us why we do what we do; to connect, create, express and support each other.
