Friday, October 9 ((10:00am-3:00pm))
_____
Color, warmth, and a beautiful mix of stones for the season ahead.
In this Make It at Meltdown class, you’ll create a sterling silver cuff featuring an autumn-inspired collection of natural gemstone cabochons. Choose a rich mix of earthy reds, golden tones, deep greens, smoky neutrals, and bright turquoise, then arrange the stones into a composition that feels balanced and entirely your own.
The finished cuff has beautiful color and presence, with every stone chosen and arranged to make the design distinctly yours. It looks beautiful on its own, adds something unexpected to a favorite stack, and moves easily from late summer into fall. And at the end, you’ll be a soldering pro!!
Why we love this class ✨
Choosing the stones is half the fun!! Color, shape, and placement come together differently in every bracelet, so no two cuffs will be alike. It’s a satisfying project with a polished finish and plenty of room for personal expression.
Techniques we’ll cover
Bezel making
Cuff forming
Soldering
Stone setting
Oxidizing and polishing
Materials we’ll use
Sterling silver
Natural gemstone cabochons in an autumn-inspired selection, including jasper, carnelian, smoky quartz, turquoise, moonstone, and many more
What to expect
No previous jewelry-making experience is required. We’ll guide you through each step, from choosing and arranging your stones to forming, setting, and finishing your cuff.
You’ll leave with a substantial, comfortable gemstone bracelet made for the colors and textures of fall, and for wearing long after the season has passed.
