A ring that feels bold, seasonal, and entirely your own.
In this Make It at Meltdown class, you’ll create a Fall Statement Ring featuring a marquise-shaped cabochon set in sterling silver with a split double-shank band. The design is sculptural and eye-catching, yet comfortable enough to wear often.
You’ll choose from a handpicked collection of fall-colored stones, including warm jaspers, earthy hues, and natural gems cut especially for this workshop. From shaping and soldering the band to setting the stone, you’ll make the ring in your own size and style.
Why we love this class ✨
The elongated stone and split band give this ring real presence, while the solid construction and comfortable fit make it a piece you’ll reach for often. Each cabochon has its own color and pattern, so every finished ring will be different.
Techniques we’ll cover
Bezel making
Soldering
Stone setting
Oxidizing and polishing
Materials we’ll use
Sterling silver
Genuine cabochon gemstones, such as jasper, obsidian
What to expect
No previous jewelry-making experience is required. Whether this is your first ring or one of many, we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish.
You’ll leave with a substantial, beautifully finished ring made to fit you.
