In this special “Make it at Meltdown” class, you’ll create a pair of Corazón Earrings that feel bold, joyful, and completely wearable. These earrings feature vibrant spiny oyster shell hearts paired with genuine turquoise accents, bringing together rich color and classic Southwestern style in a piece you can dress up or wear every day.
This class offers a perfect opportunity to spend the day at the studio, whether you come solo, bring a friend, or make it part of a special weekend together. Create a pair for yourself, gift them to someone you love, or make them with someone who makes your life sweeter. You’ll leave with a finished set that’s full of meaning and made entirely by you.
No previous jewelry making experience required. Fun and rewarding for all levels.
Techniques we will cover: bezel making, soldering, oxidation, polishing, stone setting
Materials we will use: sterling silver, spiny oyster shell, turquoise
What to expect:
• All tools, materials, and safety equipment are provided
• You will select your stones from a curated collection at the start of class
• Wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing; long hair should be tied back
• The class is guided step by step with plenty of individual help
• Light snacks and drinks are welcome during breaks
• You will leave with one fully finished pair of sterling silver heart earrings
