"Make it at Meltdown" Bandana Slide

  • Meltdown Studio 901 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Suite E-130 Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

Here’s your chance to dive into silversmithing and walk away with a piece you’ll be proud to wear. In this brand-new class, you’ll blend traditional techniques with a modern twist to create your very own Bandana Slide.

With the hydraulic press, you’ll form a sterling silver (or copper) concho slide, personalize it with stamped details, and set it with a cabochon stone you choose. The end result is a one-of-a-kind accessory that’s both stylish and meaningful.

To top it off, you’ll pick a beautiful, handmade bandana by Albuquerque artist Jen Fox (included). Pair it with your slide for a finished look that works just as well dressed up as it does casual.

No experience needed. This class is designed to be approachable, creative, and fun for all skill levels.

What you’ll learn: hydraulic press forming, stamping, bezel setting, soldering, finishing, polishing
What’s included: sterling silver or copper, cabochon gemstone, and a custom bandana by Jen Fox
