In this Make it at Meltdown class, you’ll create a custom three-ring stacking set designed to fit together perfectly: two textured sterling silver bands that frame a stunning bezel-set turquoise centerpiece. The result is a bold, sculptural stack with a vibrant pop of color, eye-catching enough to stand alone yet effortless for everyday wear.
Turquoise has been cherished in the Southwest for centuries, symbolizing water, sky, protection, and good fortune. With your own sizing, textures, and design choices, your finished stack will feel personal, modern, and uniquely yours.
Techniques we will cover: bezel making, soldering, stamping, texturing, oxidation, polishing, stone setting
Materials we will use: sterling silver, genuine turquoise
No previous jewelry making experience required.
What to expect:
• All tools, materials, and safety equipment are provided.
• You’ll choose your turquoise stone from a curated selection at the start of class.
• Wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Long hair should be tied back.
• The class moves at a relaxed, guided pace with plenty of one on one help.
• Snacks//lunch and drinks are welcome during breaks.
• You will leave with three fully finished sterling silver rings, sized to fit you.
