Skelly Stackers Season: Crafting Spirit, Silver, and Spooky Fun at Meltdown Studio

There’s something magical about fall at Meltdown Studio. The air turns crisp, creativity starts to hum, and our benches fill with makers ready to create something truly special. This season’s Skelly Stackers classes brought together an incredible group of artists, both new and returning, to celebrate the spirit of the season through silver, imagination, and a touch of spooky sparkle.

Led by our talented instructors, students explored the art of stacker ring making, learning soldering, texturing, and stone-setting techniques while adding their own creative flair. Each ring reflected its maker’s story, from bold bone and skull-inspired designs to delicate, nature-themed bands that captured the warmth of autumn.

What truly made these classes shine was more than the jewelry itself—it was the laughter, camaraderie, and creative energy that filled the studio. From first-timers nervously lighting their torches to seasoned metalsmiths perfecting their polish, everyone left with a sense of pride and a few new friends.

It’s so much fun seeing everyone’s rings come to life. No two are ever the same!
